SUMMARY OF AUGUST

August was an intense month with events, additions to our team and lots of work “behind the scenes” as we prepare for exciting stuff ahead!

EPRI event

Pylon Network was one of the 20 startups invited to Investor Startup Day – a one-day event organized by EPRI, which took place in Chicago (US). There we had the chance to present the work of Pylon Network to investors and US utilities, who were interested to explore the blockchain/ energy landscape.

We got very positive feedback regarding the application of Pylon Network as a neutral energy datahub for facilitating exchange and management of energy data and constituting the foundation for the exchange of digital services in the energy sector.

Tech expert Oriol Rius joins advisroy board!

Couple of weeks ago, we announced the addition of a new member in our advisory board: Oriol Rius, a tech expert with vast experience in software development, entrepreneurship and tech consultancy has joined forces with Pylon Network – and we could not be more delighted about it!

Pylon Telegram Community is Growing – Join our French community

Continuing the expansion and growth of our community and with the help of our great members, we launched our latest telegram community in French – which you can join here.

Community Reward Program Continues

As part of our continuous effort to increase the awareness of the project, engage with – and grow – our community, we are addressing to the collective competences, knowledge and initiatives of Pylon community memers.

For that reason, we launched our community reward program: to give back to the community and showcase the community members that are exceptional in helping the project grow. The reward program was launched in June and will be running until September (included).

OUTLOOK OF SEPTEMBER

September is expected to be a very busy and exciting month for Pylon Network. Read the following lines to see what’s coming up this month!

The Madrid Energy Conference, 4-6 Sept

An international assembly of top level business executives and government officials from Latin America, Europe, and the world will come together to explore the vast cross-regional opportunities at the intersection of E&P, infrastructure, renewables, and finance. And of course Pylon Network will be there!

Our CEO, Gerard Bel, will participate in the discussion panel, with title: “The Future Customer”, together with representatives from IBM Spain, Shell and Siemens.

Official $PYLNT & $PYLNC Wallet

Our dev team has been working tirelessly over the past weeks on several fronts of the project’s development. One one them has been the release of the official Pylon Token ($PYLNT) and Pyloncoin ($PYLNC) wallet. We know that our community has been waiting for its release and this month the wait will be over. Pylon team has been carrying out the necessary changes and bug fixes and the long-waited news will be coming up this month!

Over the next weeks we will be announcing the date of release – so make sure to stay tuned for news and updates!

Smart contract patch

One more milestone that our community has been looking forward to will be delivered this month! As we had announced back in July, we will be releasing a smart contract patch for $PYLNT, which will allow us to list it in decentralized exchanges (DEX). The smart contract patch is going through the last checks and with the successful completion of the test, the DEX listing process will begin.

News and updates will be very soon on the way – so there is one more thing to keep your eyes and ears open for!

Pylon MainNet Launch

The updated Pylon Network blockchain code is at about 90% of the progress. The remaining developments of the code will continue this month and we are working day and night to deliver multiple-front developments on time.

We will be updating our community on the progress of the developments – so stay put!
